Unusual lock picking

There's more than five pin tumblers

A talk about some not so common, newly developed or unpublished attacks on some special (including maximum security) locks.

We are a group of SSDeV members who analyzed a number of interesting locks in detail during the last years. In this presentation we will talk about various research results of our work. It reaches from successfully decoding a new kind of combination lock (not on the market yet, but it might be in August, so this lock was pwned even before anybody could buy it :-), through some key replication and master key generation methods not often discussed so far in the public, to a decoding attack on a very special high security lock, which hasn't completely succeeded yet (we're still working on it!) - but if it does, HAR attendees might be the first to see it presented, and otherwise they'll learn what we tried and get the chance to help improving our method.
